GFA Pet Expo 2012
Join us on October 27th and 28th!
It's that time of year again! Guardians For Animals will be holding its 7th Annual Pet Expo and Adoption Event on Saturday, October 27th, from 10 am – 5 pm and Sunday, October 28th, from 11 am – 4 pm, at the Madison Place in Madison Heights. Click here for directions.
Many local area animal rescues will have adoptable dogs, puppies, cats, kittens, and birds available for adoption during the two-day event.
This indoor event is free and has something for everyone.
Attendees not looking to adopt at this time are invited to bring their leashed pets* and family members to enjoy the festivities!
Activities will include:
• Adoption Avenue • Meet Nick, the Wise Old Cat!
• Pet Contests and Prizes (see "Contest and Prizes" section) • Psychic Readings
• Demos by the Madison Heights Police K-9s and Dog Zone • 105.1 Money Machine (Sun. 11 - 1)
• Shopping (including many quality, Michigan made products) • Paw Painting (humans and pets)
• Meet the Vets • Hair Decorating (humans only)
• Family and Pet Photography • Silent Auction, Raffles
• Microchipping • Good Eats!
Free admission and parking! Pet food donations of sealed cans or bags are greatly appreciated.
* All leashed pets attending the expo MUST have proof of vaccinations or their current city dog license to enter.

Our Mission
GFA's mission is to help support No-Kill rescues who save doomed animals from death row in shelters. Event proceeds benefit GFA's Emergency Medical Fund, our Affiliate Rescues and the Madison Heights Animals Shelter.
