No one needs to tell you economic times are difficult. For the abused, abandoned and neglected homeless animals, every day is a challenge just to stay alive. Record numbers are being discarded to fend for themselves. Starving and in great need of medical care, many are left to face death alone.
This is your opportunity to save the lives of innocent animals while helping to create a two day, fun-filled, educational family event. Guardians For Animals, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is hosting the Sixth Annual Guardians For Animals Pet Expo & Adoption Event on Saturday, Oct. 8th, and Sunday, Oct. 9th, 2011. This event will be indoors at the beautiful Madison Place (876 Horace Brown Drive located south off of 13 mile, East of Stephenson Hwy and west of John R). Proceeds will benefit GFA’s emergency fund, the City of Madison Heights Animal Shelter and GFA affiliate rescues.
